How to Play Sudoku

Tips for Beginners

• Start with rows, columns, or boxes that have the most numbers filled in
• Use Notes mode to pencil in possible candidates
• Look for "naked singles" — cells where only one number can fit
• Scan for numbers that appear 8 times — the 9th placement is forced
